Idli Vadai Inc. (இட்லி வடை கம்பெனி...)

Hi Friends,
As every Tamilian in the world Iam very fond of my traditional food, Idli, vadai and Pongal. Who ever visits Tamilnadu won't leave with out tasting these three food.

I rarely ate in hotels, till I completed my +2, may be less than 20 times for the good number of 1o years. In college days, another 50 times (max...)I would have had the food in the hotels.
I moved to Bangalore a good five years ago. I didn't like the Idli, Vada Sambhar served here in the Sagar hotels. I really had very tough time in the first couple of years, but now I love the food served here (Kara bath, Idli vada, Rava Idli and Rava Dosa ) like I love Tamil Idli, Vadai, though the later is not at all comparable with the previous one.

For the last 5 years,when ever I used to visit Tamilnadu (to my native, or to Chennai or to any other place) the very first thing I order is Pongal, vadai. then I may have a dosai or Poori, if my stomach permits.

I would say the Pongal is the best food in the world.what do you say??

For Dinner I always love Parotas(Parathas in cities) and onion Uthappam served in small road side eateries. They are always awesome. I never like to eat food in small hotels fearing their hygenic only till I found the Parotas are the best with Salna in the small hotels.( Curry served for Parota in Tamilnadu is called Salna in small road side eateries.).

I tried to be a Vegetarion for the first couple of years in Bangalore but stopped it because whenever I visit my relatives or other friends they had to prepare Veg separately for me, which I felt was not good as Iam not doing justice for the affection they show towards me. Usually i eat Non Veg once a month usually even less than that. So I thought i will eat Non Veg whenever there is no Veg food or some one feels I should eat. other wise Iam a Vegetarian.

My father is a Non Veg Lover. My mother prepares a really tasty biriyani. My sisters are also Non veg Lovers. We used to have chicken's in our house. So We used to eat non Veg once in 20 - 30 days. In a Village that was OK i felt. but only in cities I see people eat too much Non Veg. mostly every Sunday People eat Non Veg. (many people eat even more)
During my childhood days I had a peculiar issue. I don't like to eat chicken Piece,but like Chicken Curry. So I won't touch Chicken Piece. Still I continue my childhood legacy many times though i eat chicken piece some times if there are no alternative. But I like egg omelet mainly my own preparation.

My father liked pongal also.I forgot to mention that I did not like Pongal too in my childhood. I cried many times asking my mother to prepare some other food for me. I did not like the Pepper which is in Pongal fearing the spicy taste it produced. Some times i even protested with out eating pongal.

Now a days whenever I visit Tamilnadu I will search for a best Iyer hotel to order Pongal vadai for Breakfast and Madurai based hotel for Dinner.If Pongal is not there, i feel very sad and will settle for Dosas.
In many Tamilnadu hotels, the vadai is usually served separately. If the vadai is served with Pongal or Idli, many people will quarrel with waiters saying who asked him to serve vadai with the pongal.the Waiters will ask the guest whether they want Vadai to be served to them?. I even remember that My father and me once asked the waiter to take back the vadai.It happens now also.I feel its because Tamilians are very cost centric and don't like to spend money on unnecessary things. But now I order 2 - 3 vadais for my breakfast. See How I have changed.

Somedays back When I had gone for lunch with my Colleagues for a nearby Andra Mess as earlier I started bluffing about Idli Vada. They told me to start a company called Gurusamy Inc and start selling Idli Vadai. That's how this blog was born and I had some serious thoughts about Idli Vadais.

I firmly believe that Dosa's are the better than Pizzas and Idli Vadai is much better than Burgers.

If I have enough money in the future I will create a company called Idli Vadai Inc, and will have branches all over the world and will serve Idli,Pongal, vadai and Dosas. I will even hire Mckinsey for consulting and Britney spears (or some one popular like her in that time) to do a Add Video for my Idli Vadai Inc. I will directly compete with Mc Donalad's, SubWays and Dominos and Pizza Corners.

Iam sure if it happens the World love Idli, Vadai and Pongal than any other western Junks.

You know one more thing. Idli is a half digested food which can be feed to a one year baby. I heard this from some friend or from a Doctor.

By the way I am also an decent Tamil Cook. I can prepare a decent Tamil meal and especially Pongal and Sambhar.

2. Cauvery , Madiwala (Behind Aiyappan Temple)
3. A small Road side eatery in Wilsen Garden called Kuppusamy)
4. Anjappar In Koramangla for Non Veg
5. I heard about Annachi in Indhra Nagar (but never visited)
6. Malgudi - (not worth for the money you pay)

There was one small Chettinad hotel behind Motorola Marathahalli office. there too food was Ok , but the Hygiene and Ambiance was horrible.

Couple of days back I saw a new small Chettinad hotel in front of Multiplex in Marathahalli. I must visit there next time when I go to Marathahalli.

நான் பார்க்க விரும்பிய நபர்களில் மிக முக்கியமானவர் அமரர் திரு தென்கச்சி கோ. சுவாமிநாதன் அவர்கள்.
துத்துக்குடி வானொலியில் அதிகாலை 5.30 மணிக்கு (i forgot the correct time) அவர் பேசியது இன்னும் என் மனத்தில் அப்படியே இருக்கிறது.
அவர் பேச்சை கேட்கவே பல நாள் நான் அதிகாலையில் எழுந்தது உண்டு.

அவரது கதைகளை என்னால் மறக்கவே முடியாது.

அவர் மறைந்தார் என்பதை என்னால் ஏற்கவே முடியவில்லை.

தமிழ்நாடு ஒரு சிறந்த பேச்சாளரை இழந்து விட்டது.

அவர் ஒரு சிறந்த "Motivator" கூட.

அவர் ஒரு உண்மையான தமிழ் மகன். ஒரு அழகிய தமிழ் மகன்.

முடிந்தால் அவரது பேச்சுகளை DVD -யில் வெளியிட்டு வருங்கால குழந்தைகளுக்கு கிடைக்க செய்ய வேண்டும்.

வாழ்க அவரது தொண்டு !!

அவர் ஆன்மா சாந்தி அடைய ஆண்டவனை வேண்டுகிறேன்.

My Dream Car

My Friend Ravikumar( my childhood friend, who was my schoolmate for more than 7 years), who works for GM in Bangalore has sent me some pics of a Benz Car.
Regularly he sends me some pics, but today's pics have taken me.They were superb and i really enjoyed those.

Immediately my mind started thinking when will I have one like that?
A junk Man who has moved to City with Big dreams, but failed in all aspects in the last 5 years.
I couldn't achieve any success in professional or Personal life.

But life revolves around hope. Without hope there is nothing.
I thought about Karunanidhi and Manmohan.
Would have anyone predicted Manmohan becoming PM? that is too twice?
Would have anyone in Tamilnadu thought Karunanidhi becoming CM when MGR was alive?

But these things happened.
So My dear friends don't doubt,whether Gurusamy will have a Benz Car in Future.

Ok.. its enough. Let's see my Dream Car!!














Note: 4 years back my dream car was Some Honda model. I even had that as my Desktop Picture.I have even forgotten that right now. I hope I won't go beyond Benz. Because there is nothing best beyond Benz now. the Future has to answer if something comes...

என்ன செய்ய தமிழனுக்கு அன்றே ஒற்றுமை இல்லை.

இன்று மட்டும் எப்படி வரும் ADMK -வுக்கும் DMK-வுக்கும்????

இது தமிழனின் ரத்தத்தில் உள்ள சகோதர சண்டை
இதற்கு அழிவே இல்லை.

ஏன் இன்றைய தமிழ் நாட்டிலும் ஒரு குடும்பத்தில் அண்ணன் தம்பி ஒன்றாக வாழ்வது இல்லை , என்ன செய்ய எல்லாம் சோழ பாண்டியன் பரம்பரை தானே .

இன்றைய இலங்கை பிரச்சினைக்கு மேலும் ஒரு காரணம் நமது சேர நாட்டு ( கேரளா) அதிகாரிகள் இலங்கையில் செய்த குளறு படிகள் தான். ராஜிவ் காந்திக்கு தவறான தகவல் கொடுத்து IPKF அனுப்பி , பிரச்சனை வந்து , பின்னால் அவர் சாவுக்கும் காரணம் அது தான்.

கருணாநிதி மற்றும் ஜெயலலிதா ஆடும் நாடகமும் சில எடுத்துகாட்டுகள்.

அங்கொரு கருணா என்ற துரோகி !!!

So தமிழனின் பிரச்சினைக்கு அவனே தான் காரணம் , மற்றவர்கள் அல்ல .

மெல்ல தமிழனி சாகும் என்று பாரதி சொன்னான் !!!

Srilankan Tamils

Oh.. My God... Iam as old as the widespread riots and massacres started in Srilanka. Still the People there don't have a solution. All their fate??.
Even though I born and brought up in a corrupted country like India, I live my life and enjoy the freedom, and do what ever I want to. But the People in Vanni or Kilinochi are able to ??, a Big No.

Srilankan Tamils are the bravest Tamilians in the modern times. I have read about Tamil Culture and Wealth of Tamil Land may be 5000 years ago. The Community which has prides struggles now. Oh.. God Please help my brothers and sisters there and Give them the peace.
They will emerge as Jews of West. Tamils are as old as ancient Greek and Chinese and intelligent.What to do ?, nothing helps the Tamilians there.

I would like to Pin point something, which came up in my mind.
Mistakes done by LTTE:
->Killing many Tamil Leaders in Srilanka during 80s and 90s. They wanted to be the only representatives of Tamils in srilanka.
-> Killing the Indian PM Rajiv Gandhi. This was a brutal mistake. Till Rajiv Gandhi's death the whole Tamilnadu encouraged LTTE and even Indian Government trained them. after wards the situation has changed.Wouldn't have done this, the Eelam might have been already created.
-> Even during the ceasefire period between 2002-2008,they failed to reach the Solution.
-> Why are they not OK with Semi Autonomous Federal Framework?, what we have in India? I have No Idea.

My Suggestions:
1. Stop the War Immediatley and treat all the People wounded so far.
2. Constitute a Group with members from LTTE, Srilankan Government, UN, USA and India and Tamil Nadu Government to arrive a solution. Till that time, continue the existing Administration.
3. The solution should grand equal rights to Tamilians in Srilanka, and enough Representation in Parliament and right to live their lifes.
3. Help the Tamilians who fled Srilanka to return back to their mainland.


Tamilians in Tamilnadu:
->Karunanidhi only wants to be in power.He never did any good thing to the People of Tamilnadu.He will do anything to be in power.He always thinks about his sons and grandsons. How do you expect him to help Srilankan Tamilians?
-> Jayalalitha does the same thing. The only thing is she doesn't have 10s of Grandchildren to look after like Karuna.

Many Good real ( yes, they are real)Tamil leaders like Mr Vaiko, Nedumaran, Tha. Pandian and N. Varadarajan don't have political support and Junk Tamilians should stand behind them.But all the Tamilians are not with them,so their voices are unheard in the Media and by those who is in power.

Even people Like Vijayakanth and Ramadoss are busy in organising their own meetings, instead of joining the above mentioned leaders, because of the Political gains they want to make.

All the Tamilnadu Politicians should stand together for the Srilankan Tamilians?. Will that happen in my life time?, I doubt.


Angry about Media:
All over the world, the news media talks about Britney Spears new Video, Paris Hiltons new Sex Video, A dog giving birth to a dog,Laxmi Mittals wealth. But no one gives ebough importance to 100's of Tamilians getting killed everyday in Sri Lanka.
Even The Indian News Channels like NDTV and Timesnow are busy with Some Women's sending panties to Sri Ram Sena, but not worried about what happens in Tamilnadu.
See, what Barkha Dutt of NDTV hosting in NDTV, she is worried about a Foreign girl killed in Goa and Sri Ram sena Issue. She always conducts national level debastes on petty issues. the same applies to Arnab Goswami of Times Now.

No one talks about My Brothers and Sisters?.

Oh God, Please help them.


My views are not complete enough. Still I want to make views through my blog to the outside world, As a Tamilian, my heart cried for them.

A Letter to Every Indian by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam

Today morning I received a mail from my Friend Selvaraj, which I felt a worth posting in my blog. Its none other than the words from our beloved 2nd Father of Our Nation ( This would be more appropriate, what do you say?) Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Iam always very proud that he is a Tamilian.
I don't know the authenticity of the Letter, whether It originally came from APJ himself, but Whoever has written that really deserves a huge respect.

Why is the media here so negative?
Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements?
We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing success stories but we refuse to acknowledge them. Why?
We are the first in milk production.
We are number one in Remote sensing satellites.
We are the second largest producer of wheat.
We are the second largest producer of rice.
Look at Dr. Sudarshan , he has transferred the tribal village into a self-sustaining, self-driving unit. There are millions of such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters.
I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli newspaper. It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken place. The Hamas had struck. But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert into an orchid and a granary. It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to. The gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the newspaper, buried among other news.
In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime.. Why are we so NEGATIVE? Another question: Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign things? We want foreign T.Vs, we want foreign shirts. We want foreign technology.
Why this obsession with everything imported. Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance? I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is. She replied: I want to live in a developed India .. For her, you and I will have to build this developed India . You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation.
Do you have 10 minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance.
Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is yours.
YOU say that our government is inefficient.
YOU say that our laws are too old.
YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.
YOU say that the phones don't work, the railways are a joke. The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.
YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.

YOU say, say and say. What do YOU do about it?

Take a person on his way to Singapore . Give him a name - 'YOURS'. Give him a face - 'YOURS'. YOU walk out of the airport and you are at your International best. In Singapore you don! 't throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in the stores. YOU are as proud of their Underground links as they are. You pay $5 (approx. Rs. 60) to drive through Orchard Road (equivalent of Mahim Causeway or Pedder Road) between 5 PM and 8 PM. YOU come back to the parking lot to punch your parking ticket if you have over stayed in a restaurant or a shopping mall irrespective of your status identity… In Singapore you don't say anything, DO YOU? YOU wouldn't dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai . YOU would not dare to go out without your head covered in Jeddah.
YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange in London at 10 pounds (Rs.650) a month to, 'see to it that my STD and ISD calls are billed to someone else.'YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop, 'Jaanta hai main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost.' YOU wouldn't chuck an empty c! oconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Au stralia and New Zealand .
Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo ? Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston ??? We are still talking of the same YOU. YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own. You who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground. If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India ?

In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job. Same in Japan .
Will the Indian citizen do that here?' He's right. We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility.
We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to d! o everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative. We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick a up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin. We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.
We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity.
This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the service to the public.

When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child! and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excu! se? 'It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my sons' rights to a dowry.' So who's going to change the system?
What does a system consist of? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other communities and the government. But definitely not me and YOU.. When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr.Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away.
Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system. When New York becomes insecure we run to England . When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf. When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian government. Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country. Nobody think! s of feeding the system. Our conscience is mortgaged to money.

Dear Indians, The article is highly thought inductive, calls for a great deal of introspection and pricks one's conscience too….. I am echoing J. F. Kennedy's words to his fellow Americans to relate to Indians…..

Suresh's Marriage

My dear Blog readers,
Yesterday was the day when one of my First close Pal got married. So its a very special day for us also.First, My hearty wishes to the couple Suresh & Sandhya for a happy married life.
In Tamil I should wish them with a Tamil proverb" Pathinarum petru peru valvu Valka" that means live happily with 16 knowledge or wealth. I need to clarify this with some elders at my village. So, this blog is about my trip to Kumbakonam, where the marriage happened.

Our trip started by getting in to Mysore- Mayiladuthurai (No 6232) at cantonment Railway station, Bangalore on Jan 30th. It included Musiri(His real name Satheeshkumar,we call him with his native( a Town in Tamilnadu, as nick name) , Batch ( its jayaganesh, my Labmate in Engineering),Perisu(Periyasamy) , Anitha (My Classmate) ,balaguru(Collegemate) and me( Gundu or blade, I don't know how many funny nick names I have got so far). We missed Mr SUMU ( Sundaramoorthy-a well known and proven expert in pulling our legs, we are still afraid of him) as he had got some urgent work at office. It always happens to him. We are also joined by Suresh's Collegaues from TI.
We had a really special Puliotharai( Tamarind rice)cooked by Perisu for dinner. The night was full of pulling each other's legs, mainly it was mine or Musiri's. Almost the whole compartment was entertained by our chit-chats.we talked about my crush for a girl and Musiri's cruch for his Ex-Colleague. It was a nice journey to Kumbakonam.

We were welcomed by Suresh's Childhood friend Sankar at the Kumbakonam Railway station. Movu( Mohan Raj, Chennai) and Madu(Ganeshamoorthy, Chennai) joined us in the morning.My Another pal Muthumanikam ( PULI- Tiger in Tamil) has flied from Mumbai to Chennai and informed me that he would be in Kumbakonam in the evening. I was expecting him too.
We took bath and had a Tamil Breakfast. We fought with each other in counting Number of the Idlis we had. Then we got in to a CAB and went straight to Tanjore BIG Temple.By this time, We were joined by Musiri's parents from Namakal. Its a Shiva Temple built by the Chola King Raja Raja Cholan (means King of Kings).I was personally enthralled by the Architecture miracle of my fore fathers and was happy to be there first time. ( I will post some pictures very soon), then we went to the Tanjore Palace,which houses the famous Saraswathi Mahal Library, a library has the rare Palm leaf collections of many many Tamil Literature.We couldn't go inside the library as it was closed for lunch. There I bought a nice Tanjore painting and many small handicrafts for my house( I wanted to buy more, but they didn't have Credit card facility and I lost my debit card in the morning). I bought for every Rupee I had and took Madu also with me, If I need more money to pay the bills.



Straight after lunch, we went to Tharasurm, another architectural Marvelous built by second Raja Raja Cholan 2 to 3 centuries later to the Big Temple.It has nice pillars that has thousands of dancing maneuvers , which may take 2 to 3 days to understand everything. We had seen a really nice Sculpture there in which If you hide one part, it would look like a bull and if you hide the another part , it would look like an elephant.Then we went to Swami malai a place which is part of six scared temples of Lord Murugan and then to Uppiliappan Temple ( Lord Vengadeswara Temple) and to Thiru Nageswaram a NavaGraha Temple where Lord Raghu Bagavan has a individual temple. We were back to Kalyana Mahal around 7 PM.

we are still expecting PULI from Chennai.After a small snack some of us went to Lee Garden Inn a decent and nice hotel nearby to the Mahal for Bachelor party. The party was very good, where I irritated all my Pals, which they told me next day morning. I should write another blog about this party,we will see that later.By this time DAS, my another classmate joined us.
Next day( Sunday) morning me and Movu were searching for a Salon for a Shave. you know both the salons we tried were full and some how we got in to the second one and we paid Rs 20 for a Shave. we pay only Rs 10 or 15 in Bangalore. When we tried on Saturday morning, both the salons were crowded like anything.We were thinking, if we are barbers at Kumbakonam, we can make more than we are getting right now.

after bath we reached Kalyana Mahal.Prabhu,My Friend from Pune,and Mohan from Chennai has already arrived and joined us for Breakfast). Many of us wore Dhoti, because we wanted to feel like Tamil Man. Vanitha My classmate also came to the marriage with his father from Tirunalveli. PULI has already arrived and was sporing with nice T-Shirt with Jeans and Mustacheless face. I had four rounds of Pongal for breakfast which I like the most than any other food. the couple got married around 10.10 AM. SUMU reached the Mahal around 10.30 AM. one Foreigner Mr Bill from USA was invited to the marriage by a friend of Suresh, when he was standing at the door steps after listening to the Indian music. I played host to him and explained what ever i know about the Indian Traditional Marriage and the Marriage Food. He presented a greeting note with 10$ note as Gift.

The Lunch was very good and after that those who wanted to go to Chennai took bus at the Bus Terminus. SUMU, Musiri, Perisu,Madu,Batch and me went for a new Tamil Movie "Vennila Kabadi Kushu" a Nice movie which was shooted in Kanakanpaati, a village which very near to my Village Aruvankattuvalasu. I would recommend everyone to watch this movie, I believe this one will become blockbuster of the year.Then we headed to the Railway station, packed our Dinner from the small hotel in the station. Again our Mokkai ( chit- chat) started afresh by SUMU revolving around Musiri,Batch and me some times. Puli joined us to Bangalore and will leave to Mumbai on Tuesday evening.We were surprised to see 2 of Compartment mates while traveling to Kumbakonam also joined us now. One guy was at our compartment this time too and offered home made tasty vadas prepared by his MOM.Around 10.30 after playing 3 rounds of cards, we went to bed. Musiri won twice and Sumu once, I tried hard,but couldn't win.
We woke up when the train reached Byappanahalli and got down at Cantonment, took two auto to Mayo hall for Rs 80 per Auto, and from there we took bus to our house at Bellandur via Marathahalli. We reached Bellandur around 6.10 AM

we gave the cards back to Suresh's colleagues Kalayn, Rajasekar Reddy and Sripal who were very nice during the entire journey.

The last two days has passed ,but the Memories of this wonderful Journey and the Fun I had will remain as a Most memorable days of my life time.

Chennai Vs Bangalore

I was reading a blog where people were shouting which city is good , Chennai or Bangalore.
I thought of posting the comments there itself, but felt that as I have a blog of my own(even though no one reads), just to eat the servers Google has, I have decided to post it here.

Iam a Tamilian living in Bangalore. Moved to Bangalore just after straight from the Engineering College, ( GCE Bargur), My college is just 3 hours journey from Bangalore, but I had visited here only at the 7th semester, while desperately looking for the project.

My first visit to Chennai was for my Engineering College counseling at june 2000. I stayed at my cousin's hostel,who was studying Engineering at Sairam Engineering College. Now it is to visit my friends(some times for marriages), i visit my relatives too if time permits.

I don't speak kannada at all (some times I do understand Kannada), even though Iam here for almost 4.5 years. initially around 2005, If start my broken Kannada or English (that is also broken or with weired Pronunciation), People answer me in Tamil. So i gave up trying to speak Kannada. now a Days, iam bit OK in using English as I see some improvements in my language.

OK.. enough of bluffing, let us come to the blog........

I had visited my friend, who was a PG Student at ANNA Univ Chennai during 2006 Summer and couldn't sleep at his house and went to terrace to sleep in the midst of Mosquitoes war at his Kotturpuram house. Just few backs also I had visited my other friend at West Mambalam at didn't had any issues thanks to the Markali Pani. ( december cold and mist).
I had told my friends that only when the whole world shivers,we can sleep well in chennai,
it sweats , sweats like anything. It is horrible.

Restaurants are pathetic in chennai. Iam not talking about the 5 star hotles, they are same everywhere.You don't get a good Garden restaurant( does chennai has one, I haven't seen one, Do you, If yes pls let me know) or usual hotel with the cleanness what bangalore provides.
You don't get your favorite WINE or BEER in any TASMAC shops.he only good thing is Pongal, FULL meals. and parathas at some hotels.

Corporation buses are also pathetic in chennai, But if you compare the bus fare in bangalore..the travel in chenni is 40 to 50 % less.

Bangalore is the Greenest City I feel in India, Sorry, I haven't visited Kerala Cities yet like Kochi or Trivandrum. You can never compare the Cubbon Park and Lal baugh with Chennai. Still it has the beach .

What else I should compare...
Bangalore is Young, Vibrant like a 25 year old, but Chennai is matured and calm as a 60 year old

If you see the crowd in Chennai- Bangalore trains, you will understand the bond between the two cites. I would say the Chennai and Bangalore are siblings in many senses.


I still admire for Chennai's brilliance.But now Bangalore too has i believe thanks to the IT Boom.

Every city has its own Advantages and disadvantages. We should love what ever best it can provides. What do you feel ????

At last Who am I?. Iam a half Bangalorian, half Tamilian ( Not a Chennaiite definitely).

Satyam Fraud - Hate Naraynamurthy !!

Satyam fraud is the latest topic can be taken for my blog.
1. How is it possible for Ramalinga Raju to cook the book with out the knowledge of CFO, Finance Team and Auditors? - No way.
2. usually in companies,every vertical head knows the revenue about his division. Then how come not even a Single business head doesn't know about this?
3. Is it possible for Auditors to not to know about the fraud?
4. Mint has clearly written that for Mr Raju, Family, Caste and Telugu were his favorite not the talent in his company.
5. The Whole world already knows that Chennai US Consulate receives the highest Number of fraud VISA applications thanks to Andhraites.

What to do ?. All our fate... No idea.

Think about the lives of 50K + employees of Satyam ?
Who just joined the company hoping to start the fresh life ???
Only God can help them.

My deep sympathies for My Satyam Friends.

Yesterday Night, Arnab Goswami of Times Now was hosting a Show with Swaminathan Aiyar of Economic Times , Narayanamurthy of Infosys and some one.
Everyone condemned the scandal and spoke for strong corporate Governance Laws and Ethics in the company. Swami and Arnab praised NRN and urged him to help Satyam.
But Whil replying, NRN praides INFY practices and critisized SATYAM and never answered the original question.
If he is a true Indian and has high values witht him he should have come forward to help Satyam.
I had huge respect for Mr NRN and thought that he will be supportive of Satyamites.
and today morning, HR Head of INFY Mohandas Pai told the news media that they will not hire a Single Satyam employee.This is Shame. when the Whole world is watching how the Industry behaves, We indians must put up a united front.But we are true Indians correct???.
we will always try in fish in Mud waters.Even the Educated Community lacks the Ethics and Human values.

here I have to bring in a small incident which took place in my native. One Lady ( 50 + ) died of consuming poision a month back on rainy night after a dispute with his son about family property. People from my village helped to bury her immediatley by picking up the Woods and other stuff which had to be collected from many places while the rain was heavy that night.
Eventhough people were not cordial with the Son of the lady died, They forgot the differences and put up a united face to help the family. Thats what happened even when my father died.

but the best educated In India lacks this human values by criticizing the Satyam Employees for things they are not responsible for.

I don't still understand Why INFY made such comments??

Probably he was irritated by Mr Raju many a times???. Only the close circles may know the answer.

Today morning too I read the Angry comments posted by Satyamites against NRN. They are correct.
